CHOOSE THE TOPIC YOU WANT TO BLOG ABOUT

To decide on a topic for your blog is often a challenging task. This is because some topic enables you to make more money than the others. However, there are key ways to find money-making topics:

1. Choose your market

There is always a market for every products or services you want to sell or market. So, your job here is to decide on a particular market you want to target:
1. Niche Market: here your market is streamlined to a specific targeted market and the more well known your niche topic is, the higher precedence it will have in search engines;
2. General Market: Here, you have a larger market and the more well known your topic is, the higher the number of traffic it will generate from your potential visitors.
Fundamentally, what you are searching for in your money-making blog is a topic that will attract general interest from a great number of people or a niche topic that will generate deep interest from a specific target group.

2. Attract Profitable Advertisers
One other thing about your topic is that it must be able to attract the attentions of profitable advertisers. I have noticed that the more attractive to advertisers your topic is, the more ad revenue you can generate. This is the reason why you must give some serious thought to your topics whether you are targeting a general or niche market. Consider the type of advertisers you want on your blog. For instance, Computer and Phone manufacturers will be willing to pay more for ads than for lower value goods like handkerchief.

3. Get Inspired.
One of the most important decisions when building your blog is the topic you will choose. Take your time to come up with topic ideas. Think about the gap that exists in the market places. So, how do you get inspired? Read books, get inspired by friends, experiences, and great places and websites you've visited. Most successful blogs have always followed this trend.

4. Keyword Research
Do research on more popular keywords is one very helpful way of discovering a money-making topic. I will talk more about this in the next chapter.
